You have explored how earlier civilizations used the heart as a symbol and how we still do. And, you have shown how we learned what we do about how the heart functions.

You probably noted that we know a lot more about some civilizations than others. You also probably saw that many textbooks and references don't tell the full story of how we acquired our knowledge. In the future, you may have opportunities to correct this.

There are many other sources of information than those that you used and there is a great deal more to learn about the heart and how it functions. Hopefully, you finish this project with many more questions that you will want to explore.
