Conclusion
People take different paths to achieve the same goal. Garrison and Douglass both wanted to end slavery, but each, based on their individual personalities and upbringing, developed different strategies to abolish the institution of slavery. Based on these two accounts, how did slavery end? In your opinion, whose approach in ending slavery was more effective? Why?
