Conclusion

After completing the tasks in this lesson you should have a clear understanding of Native American artifacts and most importantly, what they tell us about the lives of Native Americans.  Viewing the artifacts and learning about them makes it obvious that they had to work hard to maintain their freedom and way of life. Their independence was important to them and they worked and fought hard to maintain it.  Trading with the colonists brought new products that the Native Americans eagerly welcomed into their daily lives. In the next lesson, King Philip's War you will learn what happened when colonists competed with Native Americans for natural resources.
